She actually was in such a good mood she went upstairs and went to bed early. Such good mood in fact, FIL joined us for movie night after dinner. Sister just messaged me today and said that night was by far the best night she's had. Tl;dr: MIL was being mean the entire night. Yells at me for not making her an alcoholic drink. So I do. Multiple times until she finally shuts up.
I mentioned I'm a Steven Universe geek? Consider him a Steven Universe encyclopedia. And now, for whatever reason, the same sorts of feelings that used to taint my interactions with Fernando are creeping into Steven Universe. Animal Crossing, too, with the release of the new game, and the crummy part about both of those is I enjoy them both, but it's almost like I can't think of either of them without getting either overwhelmingly sad or unreasonably irritated. Over a kids' show and a kids' game, is why this feels so pathetic. I'm not looking for answers about why this or why that by posting here. It'd be irresponsible for anyone to hand me my own feelings, not knowing the full extent of them, and foolish for me to take them. What I want is to figure out if anyone else here's experienced something remotely similar, and, well. What you do to cope, or to make sense of it, if there's any making sense of it outside a cushy office for $120+ an hour. If anyone has any kind of thoughts on this, go ahead.
Note that the pistol now has fixed sights. Parker holds his S&W 5906. Parker reinserts the magazine. Note the rounded trigger guard, compared to the hooked trigger guard in previous and later shots. Parker chambers a round after reinserting the magazine. Since he was able to fire after ejecting the magazine, someone has to removed the factory-installed magazine safety. Parker backs with the early model S&W 5906, with the adjustable sights and hooked trigger guard. Unfinished business.
